The report states that the remastered Grand Theft Auto trilogy was originally intended to ship as an added bonus for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of Grand Theft Auto V. One of Kotaku's sources states that the remastered versions of the game resemble "a heavily-modded version of a classic GTA title." All three titles will feature gameplay that stays true to the PlayStation 2 classics while sporting an updated UI that retains the "classic" style of the franchise. Rockstar didn't go much further into this other than saying that it will be available in the first half of 2022.
